The Tuskegee Airmen

This virtual presentation by the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library told the story of how a group of black men who were once considered of little value to the World War II war effort proved they could take down enemy aircraft abroad and racial barriers at home.

This presentation was done through Zoom and streamed on the library's Facebook page This was the second virtual presentation we had by the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library--they do an excellent job! In December, we also hosted Christmas with the Roosevelts.
