Outer Space Suncatchers

Besides our annual Tie-Dye Day, our first Summer Reading event this year was painting suncatchers.

I found some Outer Space Suncatchers on Oriental Trading that was a fun fit for the A Universe of Stories theme. There was an alien, astronaut, planet, and rocketship.

To set up, I covered the tables with a white tablecloth, and had a few pots of suncatcher paint (purchased at Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby) on each table, along with paintbrushes, some napkins, and a cup of water.

This activity went very smoothly and was super easy. Would do again.
