Story Time: St. Patrick's Day

We read "The Luckiest St. Patrick's Day Ever!" by Teddy Slater and "How to Catch a Leprechaun" by Adam Wallace. We learned the word shamrock. When I asked the kids "What do leprechauns do?" my nephew said "Make cereal!" haha
The craft came from Oriental Trading, as well as the cute little treat bags (also on Amazon). I wrote "Miss Maggie is LUCKY to have you!" on the pot of gold. Inside were chocolate coins and a mini leprechaun hat.
For my 2019 St Patrick's Day Story Time, I added another book, changed the craft, and did shamrock glasses and candy-filled plastic cauldrons.

I also made some Lucky Charms rainbow candy.

The recipe is from Aww Sam. I took it a step further by making some of each color to mix in there with it.

Look at that beautiful pile of Lucky Charms.
