Story Trail

The Story Trail combines family time, recreation, nature appreciation, and literacy for a new take on a walk in the woods! The stories will change often, offering a new experience for repeat visitors. We hope families will utilize the trail as a way to foster an appreciation for books in children, and that a visit to the Story Trail will become something families look forward to doing regularly.

The trail is a quarter mile and lined with 24 posts the library purchased from Barking Dog Exhibits. It begins with a QR code for the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library registration and some info about the book selected. It ends with another QR code to ebooks and a plug for the library's Facebook page.
