Poetry Writing Workshop

In this workshop, participants will examine poetry's power to honor and celebrate lived experiences; the camaraderie often found in shared spaces of history will be noted. Through prompts and readings, participants will feast "on beauty" and create pieces of their own.

This presentation was booked through the Big Sandy Community & Technical College Speakers Bureau, and the speaker combined art with examples and short exercises in poetry writing.
