Poetry for Families (Virtual)

Poetry for Families Virtual Program - Kids and adults will explore poetry through Found Words, Couplets, Haikus, Hip Hop and more!

This program was done through Beanstack, and we slightly modified their template with challenges to make Found Poems, explore rhyming in Hip Hop lyrics, listening to poems read aloud, having a family poetry slam, explore the resources and activities on the website of Shel Sivertein, and discuss what makes a poem a poem.

This was part of our Poetry Month programming.
