Magic at the Story Trail

For Magic at the Story Trail, families were invited to wander the path reading "This Book is Magic" by Ashley Evanson. Along the trail, families encountered magic tricks and learned a trick to do themselves. At the end of the trail was a magician presenting a short magic show every 20 minutes.

At the entrance, kids were given a top hat and a magic wand.

Two of our children's librarians and the magician's wife set up at different posts on the trail to do a quick magic trick when the kids made it to them.

The magic signs (and letters we taped to the gold tablecloth) were from Oriental Trading, as well as the hats and wands.
