Story Time: Snakes

We read Jim Arnosky's Rattlesnake Dance with The Greedy Python by Richard Buckley & Eric Carle and finished with Hide and Snake by Keith Baker. Hide and Snake is so fun! The illustrations are great. All of these work great for Story Time, although I wish the illustrations for Rattlesnake Dance were a little more interesting.

Our craft was a paper chain snake, which was actually a kit from Oriental Trading, but could easily be duplicated on your own. They were a big hit and resulted in lots of chasing afterwards.
