Story Time: Monsters

We read Monsters Don't Eat Broccoli by Barbara Jean Hicks. This is a cute book and I like the illustration style, but wish the ending was clearer for my age group. It was paired with Ed Emberley's Go Away, Big Green Monster! (with fun retelling puppet!) and Timothy Young's pop up book, I'm Looking for a Monster.

Our craft was foam monster masks, which was a kit from Oriental Trading that came with 3 varieties of monsters to make. Our previous craft for Monster Story Time was Make Your Own Monster.
