Story Time: Turkeys

For our last Story Time before Thanksgiving, we read The Very Stuffed Turkey by Katharine Kenah and Binny Talib (a little long for my group, though I liked the illustrations) and 10 Fat Turkeys by Tony Johnston and Rich Deas.

Our craft was turkey shapes from Oriental Trading, and went well with our literacy tip which was about shape identification and pointing out shapes in letters.

For a Thanksgiving treat, I made these cute turkey bags from Val Event Gal:

She has the "I'm Stuffed" printable available on her blog. I filled mine with a handful of assorted Hershey's kisses.
