Story Time: Squirrels

We started with David Ezra Stein's Ol' Mama Squirrel, which I was worried might be a little lengthy for my group, but it turned out fine. After shaker songs, we read The Busy Little Squirrel by Nancy Tafuri and Acorns Everywhere by Kevin Sherry.

The squirrel stuffed animal lives in our treehouse, so he's always out. But today was his time to shine.

The pom pom squirrel craft was a kit from Hobby Lobby.
