Story Time: Fish

For our fish-themed Story Time, we read Hooray for Fish by Lucy Cousins. It paired well with Fish Eyes by Lois Ehlert. Fish, Swish! Splash, Dash! by Suse MacDonald is another counting book, but the illustrations were fun and the turning the book upside down to count backwards was a hit with the kids.

Our craft was a toilet paper craft tube fish on a fishing pole. This was a kit from Oriental Trading, but could easily be replicated using a balloon stick or dowel rod for the fishing pole.
