Story Time: Cows

For the first Toddler Story Time after our Summer Reading break, we had a cow theme.

We read "The Cow Loves Cookies" by Karma Wilson and "Wow! It's a Cow!" by Trudy & Jay Harris. I also had "Everywhere the Cow Says Moo" by Ellen Slusky Weinstein, but the kids weren't feeling a third book so we skipped it.

The craft was a cow with mini clothespin legs, googly eyes, and hand-drawn spots. Here is the template I used, which I cut out on cardstock on the library's Cricut:

When everyone finished, I had them do a hand print with washable black ink to make a spot on a cow to hang in the Children's Room.

I printed it on our poster printer. Here is a blank template:
