Sand Art

We did Sand Art for a Spring Break craft at the library.

We bought an assortment of bottles and small funnels, mostly from Amazon though we may have gotten some at Oriental Trading (I can't remember!)

I arranged the tables in a big square, so patrons could circle around to all the different colors. Some of the sand was purchased, but most of it I made by adding food coloring to salt.

Once patrons filled their bottles with sand, they could take them over to the counter where the hot glue gun was to add pom poms, rhinestones, ribbons, googly eyes, feathers, beads, and bows.
