Easter Story Time & Egg Hunt

This year we read We're Going on an Egg Hunt by Laura Hughes, Chester's Colorful Easter Eggs by Theresa Smythe, and 10 Easter Egg Hunters by Janet Schulman.

This year our Easter Story Time & Egg Hunt was part of Remake Learning Days, so parents had a survey to complete. The craft was a felt ornament kit I purchased last year after Easter on clearance at Meijer. There was a choice of bunny, chick, or egg.

I bought these cute bunny and chick Easter boxes from Oriental Trading.

Inside was candy, a maze, bouncy ball, stamper, and assorted Easter goodies leftover from last year. Everything came from Oriental Trading or Dollar Tree.

I left up our big butterfly from The Very Hungry Caterpillar 50th Anniversary Celebration because it matched everything so well (and it's just so pretty!).

I doubled up on eggs this year because last year we didn't seem to have enough. It went better this time around, but, really, can you ever have "enough" Easter eggs?
