Story Time: Folktales

I paired Paul Galdone's version of The Little Red Hen with Louise Martin and Gail Yerrill's The Gingerbread Man.

Our craft was a gingerbread man finger puppet. In the past I have cut them out on brown foam, but this time I just used brown construction paper and it held up fine. Works great with the Crayola construction paper crayons--I did it with more kids at an outreach activity without the googly eyes and pom poms, and solely crayons. They turned out good as well.
