Libraries Rock Summer Reading Calendar & Decor

This year's Summer Reading theme is Libraries Rock. To fit our theme, we offered a drawing for 3 prizes for everyone who checked out books during the program:

The Mark Wood Fun Show did a Disco Magic Show for us.

Our friends over at the East Kentucky Science Center helped us out with a program exploring the science of sound.

Paul Adams of Great Shows for Libraries did Freddy Fossil's Dino Show.

And the Kentucky Historical Society came to do a presentation/activity on Bluegrass Music.

I hung up some records and guitars to decorate, along with my Pete the Cat bulletin board.

Hung up some posters:

There was a Johnny Cash book in that empty spot, but it got checked out as soon as I sat it down.

And I spruced up some Hobby Lobby boxes for prize entry boxes for each of our three instrument prizes.
